Taipei, Sep.18– WoMaster  today announced the release of the DS408H, a ruggedized 8-port managed Gigabit industrial Ethernet switch. The DS408H is designed for Din-Rail installations in automation control cabinets and is built to withstand harsh conditions.
Key Features and Benefits:

  • Robust Design: The DS408H has a rugged mechanical design that protects it from mechanical deformation. It has an IP30 ingress protection rating and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C.

  • Flexible Power Inputs: The switch supports a wide power input range of 10 to 36VDC and low AC voltage from 11 to 27VAC.

  • High-Speed Connectivity: The DS408H features six 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 ports and two 100/1000Mbps SFP fiber sockets. It has a non-blocking switch fabric with a forwarding rate of 14.88Mpps and a 20Gbps capacity.

  • Advanced Management & Features: The DS408H incorporates L2 features such as ERPS, RSTP, IGMP/Snooping, QoS, and VLAN to ensure optimal network performance. It can be managed through a Web User Interface, CLI, or USB Type-C console. The switch also supports various network traffic control features like Port Ingress/Egress Rate Control, VLAN with port isolation, and Broadcast Storm Filtering.

  • Industrial Standards: The DS408H aligns with heavy industrial communication standards and supports EMC standards EN61000-6-2/EN61000-6-4.
